When I created Herron Wellness, the name was chosen with deep intention. Today, I want to share the meaning behind it — and why it represents everything this space stands for.

Herron is my maiden name.

I chose to carry it forward into this new chapter — because this work is personal. It holds the version of me who was strong, intuitive, courageous, and deeply connected — even before I knew how to name it. Bringing it into my business was my way of coming home to that.

At Herron Wellness, I help women rebuild their relationship to health in a way that’s gentle, grounded, and free from pressure.

I’m a Health Coach who supports:

By the time Friday evening hits, a lot of us are in a state of exhaustion or clean-up mode. Clearing inboxes, trying to finish crossing off the weekly to-do’s, trying to squeeze more in, and powering through.

But I’ve learned: that energy follows you into the weekend. And I don’t want to spend my Sundays recovering from how I handled my Fridays.

This is the check-in I’ve started doing every week — 5 simple questions to help me close the week with intention, not exhaustion.

It’s about making space for yourself to notice and shift — even just a little. You get to end your week differently when you give yourself this chance.

Mid-week energy check.
I needed grounding, color, and something my body has been craving lately - beets!

So I built this simple, satisfying salad with:
🥬 Greens & fresh herbs ( for fiber & flavor )
🫜 Roasted beets ( sweet, grounding, mineral-rich )
🍗 Roasted chicken ( protein = steady energy )
🥑 Avocado ( healthy fats to stay full & focused )
🌱 Black & White Sesame seeds ( for crunch, & minerals like magnesium, calcium, zinc )
🌾 Ground Flaxseeds ( fiber & omega-3s )
🥄 A quick mustard vinaigrette ( lemon, Dijon, olive oil, salt )

No tracking. No overthinking. Just asking: “What would feel nourishing right now?”

This is the kind of meal that helps you land back in your body and supports your energy.

✨Real nourishment is simple, but intentional
✨ You don’t have to obsess over food to eat well
✨ And you don’t need to be a perfect cook to feed yourself well

You don’t need to overhaul your habits today.
You don’t need to map out every meal or prove your productivity.
You don’t need to fix anything.

For a long time, Sundays felt stressful. Planning everything, overcommitting, starting “fresh” out of guilt or pressure.

Now? I treat Sundays as a nervous system check-in. Here’s what I do instead ( and what I invite my clients to try too ):

✨Move Slowly - On Purpose
A walk without a podcast or music to tune inward. Gentle movement. I let my body guide me instead of my calendar.

✨I Ask Better Questions
•what does my body need more of this week?
•what’s draining me that I can shift or say no to?
•where can I show up in a bigger way?

✨I Prep To Feel Supported, Not Perfect
That might mean chopping veggies, plugging in a few meals, or mapping out 2 workouts I’m excited about ( not 6 I’ll dread ).

✨I Choose One Anchor
Just one habit I want to keep coming back to all week long. Not a list of 12.

So if Sunday feels heavy for you…don’t try to fix it all at once.
Just listen, slow down, ask yourself what you really need. The answer will always be revealed to you.
Make one small, kind choice that feels good —and call that enough.

Showing up for yourself in the most simple, consistent ways is what has the power to change the whole week.
